SODAQ
Connect Anything Anywhere

About us
We are a small team of engineers that want to make embedded technology available to the masses. We started by developing weather stations using standard Arduino boards but soon came to realize that instead of using a stack of different shields it would be much better to have a single board that does it all. We now would like to share this board with world.

The Team
Olivier Smeenk started tinkering and engineering at the age of 12.
In the tenth grade he received an award of excellence for his
This eventually led him to embedded programming and Arduino's.
Gregory Knauff is an electronics engineer, with a lot of hands on experience in computer aided design. He made his breakthrough designing the GPRSbee.
Gregory and Olivier teamed up and together they created the SODAQ board.

The Internet of Things
The Internet of Things is here. People are connecting all their devices to the Internet. With the SODAQ board you can start developing your own Internet connected device. It uses very low power so it can easily run on batteries for weeks, or by adding a tiny solar panel it can even run unattended for years.
With the bee socket data can be transferred wirelessly using an Xbee module or over the mobile phone network using the GPRSbee
