Bee Modules

The SODAQ board has been designed with connectivity in mind. This is no suprise because Gregory Knauff, the designer of the SODAQ board, also created the GPRSbee.

The bee socket allows you to plug in a variety of different bee compatible boards like:

The DTR and CTS pins of the bee boards are already wired to digital pins on the microcontroller allowing you to switch the modules on and off in software and monitor the status.

If you connect a Lithium Polymer battery to the GPRSbee you can use the jumper wire that comes with the GPRSbee to power the SODAQ board.

Other bee compatible boards can take the (3.3V) power from the bee socket.
